Stacks of Envelopes — Why use more than the two you actually need?
Gimmicked Envelopes — Traveling with rubber cement and scissors? No thanks!
Difficult Sleights — Top changes with “packets” of cards? Who needs that?
Funky Counts — Just count the dang cards like a normal person would!
Unnecessary Counting — Count 20 cards, then 10, then another 10? Why?
Palming — Not me, I have tiny baby hands!
Strange Logic — If we started with 20 cards and you have 7 cards… Blah, Blah, Blah. This isn’t a math class. It’s a magic show!
 
Cody's Routine Is Simple, Funny, Fooling, & Incredibly Straightforward:
 
Only two normal envelopes are used.
10 cards are counted from the top of the deck and given to Volunteer #1 to seal in their envelope.
The process is repeated with Volunteer #2.
Both volunteers place their envelopes in their back pockets.
The audience decides how many cards should travel.
The audience decides which direction they should travel.
Some funny stuff happens.
Then the magic happens.
 
With one deck, two envelopes, and two volunteers, you have everything you need to fill even the largest stage with a professionally scripted, audience-tested, stand-up comedy magic routine.
