The "Diary Trick" for the working professional! 

This E-book describes Cody's presentation and handling variation for Alex Elmsley’s “The Diary Trick”. 

You introduce your pocket calendar and show that it has a playing card written next to every day of the year.  You ask your volunteer to look up her birthday and name the corresponding card.  The volunteer then deals through the face-up deck and stops when she comes to her card.  This card is removed and the rest of the deck is shown to be completely normal.  The deck is spread to show that all the backs are blue.  You tell your volunteer that every deck contains one birthday card.  Her card is turned over to show that it has a RED back with the words HAPPY BIRTHDAY printed on it!

Note: There is NO memory work, NO card force, and the volunteer deals through the deck! As an added bonus, it automatically resets for your next performance. This is a real ‘worker’ of a routine.
